Honey Garlic Chicken

HONEY GARLIC CHICKEN

Amazing pan-fried boneless chicken breast in a delicious honey garlic sauce.

This honey garlic chicken is so super easy and incredibly yummy. Finger licking good =)  Dinner comes together so quickly with this skillet chicken. Make it with some rice to sop up the extra honey garlic sauce.

 

WHAT YOU NEED

chicken breast
salt
black pepper
olive oil
minced garlic
honey
dijon mustard
water

 

HOW TO MAKE IT

Heat up a skillet on medium heat and add 2 teaspoons olive oil. Pan-fry the chicken on both sides about 5 minutes each side.

Transfer chicken to a plate and set aside.

In the same skillet add the garlic and stir-fry until slightly browned.  Add the honey, Dijon Mustard, water, pepper, and salt, whisk to combine well.

Transfer the chicken back into the skillet and turn to make sure that the chicken is nicely coated with the honey garlic sauce.

Finish cooking in the sauce. Serve and enjoy with rice and a veggie.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 chicken breast
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 4 tsp minced garlic
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 tsp dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup water (as needed)

Instructions
 

  • Heat 2 tsp olive oil in skillet on medium heat.
  • Pan-fry the chicken covered for 5 minutes per side.
  • Transfer the chicken to a plate and set aside.
  • In the same skillet add the garlic and saute until slightly browned.
  • Add the honey, dijon mustard, salt, and pepper, whisking to combine.
  • Return the chicken to the sauce and turn to coat well and let finish cooking in the sauce.
  • Turn the heat down to low to keep warm with the lid on.
  • Serve and enjoy with a side of rice and a veggie.
