Broiled Thai Salmon

BROILED THAI SALMON

Thick salmon fillets glazed with sweet chili sauce and broiled until nice and caramelized. Served with brown rice and broccoli.

This is a delicious healthy meal. I like it served with extra sweet thai chili sauce. The rice and broccoli make it a super easy complete meal.

 

WHAT YOU NEED

salmon fillets
cooking spray
salt
pepper
Thai sweet chili sauce
green onions
brown rice (optional)
broccoli (optional)

 

HOW TO MAKE IT

preheat oven to 350 F. Cook rice according to package directions. Spray baking pan with cooking spray. Place salmon skin-side down on the baking dish.

Season with salt and pepper and pour over half the sweet chili sauce.

Bake in the oven for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and pour the remaining sweet chili sauce over the top. Return to the oven and broil for 5 more minutes.

Start cooking the broccoli and chop the green onions. Serve and enjoy.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • cooking spray
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 2 green onions (chopped)
  • 1 1/2 cup uncooked brown rice (optional)
  • 12 oz frozen broccoli (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 F
  • Cook the rice according to package directions
  • Spray Baking dish with cooking spray
  • Place the salmon skin-side down in the baking dish
  • Season with salt and pepper
  • Pour half the sweet chili sauce over top and spread evenly
  • Bake in the oven for 20 minutes
  • Remove from the oven and spread the remaining chili sauce over top
  • Return to oven and broil for 5 more minutes
  • Chop the green onions
  • Cook the broccoli
  • Serve and enjoy
