Smoked Loaded Baked Potato
SMOKED LOADED BAKED POTATO
I recently got a Smoker to add to my collection of culinary toys. I am super excited to start playing and sharing what I have learned. Smokers add a whole new layer of enjoyment for food lovers all over the world. I wanted to start off simple. I have a Loaded Baked Potato for you today. Made with Earl Campbells Hot Links, and my homemade Hot BBQ Sauce.
WHAT YOU NEED
Baking potatoes
olive oil
hot links
butter
salt
pepper
cheddar cheese
green onions
sour cream
bbq sauce
HOW TO MAKE IT
add water and wood chips to the smoker. Wash and dry the Potatoes. Rub olive oil all over them. Put the potatoes, and hot links on the smoker now. Turn the Smoker on, and let it heat up to 250 degrees. Smoke for 4 hours. Slice the Onion, Shred the Cheese.
When the potatoes are soft enough to stick a fork in easily they are done. Cut it open. Salt and Pepper. Add Butter, Cheese, sliced Meat, BBQ Sauce, Sour Cream and Sliced Onion.

Ingredients
- 4 Baking Potatoes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 package Hot Links (Earl Campbell)
- salt and pepper (to taste)
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 8 oz cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 4 tbsp sour cream
- 1 cup bbq sauce
Instructions
- add water and wood chips to the smoker
- wash, dry, and rub olive oil all over the potatoes
- add the potatoes and hot links to the smoker
- smoke for 4 hours
- slice the onion and shred the cheese
- when the potatoes are soft enough to stick a fork in easily they are done.
- slice the potato open, add salt and pepper, butter, cheese, sliced meat, bbq sauce, sour cream, and green onions. Enjoy =)
