Tropical Tuna Sandwich
TROPICAL TUNA SANDWICH
Light and delicious tuna sandwiches are sweet and crisp with a pineapple twist.
Tuna sandwiches are one of the easiest lunches you can make. As most of us are stuck at home. Making lunch has become a meal you have to prepare for. You can mix it up so many different ways to have fun with it and make it a little more exciting. The tropical tuna sandwich I have for you today is sweet from the pineapple and relish with a crispness from the celery and lettuce.
WHAT YOU NEED
tuna
light Mericle whip
crushed pineapple
celery
sweet relish
yellow mustard
lettuce leaves
whole wheat bread
HOW TO MAKE IT
Drain the tuna and pour it into a mixing bowl. Add the miracle whip, crushed pineapple, celery, relish, and mustard to the bowl and mix well.
Toast the bread. Add lettuce to the toasted bread, then pile on your tropical tuna mixture.
Top it off with the other piece of toasted bread. Serve with cherry tomatoes.
Tropical Tuna Sandwich
Ingredients
- 2 cans tuna (drained)
- 4 tbsp light miracle whip
- 2 tbsp crushed pineapple (drained)
- 2 celery stalks (diced)
- 4 tbsp sweet relish
- 2 tsp yellow mustard
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 slices whole wheat bread
Instructions
- Drain the tuna and pour it into a mixing bowl.
- Add the miracle whip, crushed pineapple, celery, relish, and mustard to the bowl and mix well.
- Toast the bread.
- Add lettuce to the toasted bread, then pile on the tropical tuna mixture and top it off with the other piece of toasted bread.
- Serve with a side cherry tomatoes.
