Spicy Buffalo Chicken Sandwich
SPICY BUFFALO CHICKEN SANDWICH
Spicy seasoned chicken breast coated in hot pepper sauce. Topped with sliced red onion and lettuce with blue cheese and sour cream dressing, served on a whole wheat bun.
We all love buffalo wings. This is a great way to get that buffalo flavor we crave while keeping it healthy. The blue cheese mixture is so delicious on the sandwich and for dipping veggies.
WHAT YOU NEED
smoked paprika
chili powder
chicken breast
olive oil
red hot sauce
light sour cream
green onions
blue cheese
lettuce leaves
red onions
whole-grain buns
fresh veggies for dipping
HOW TO MAKE IT
In bowl combine paprika & chili powder.
Sprinkle over chicken breasts.
Lightly coat a large skillet w/cooking spray & place on medium heat. Place chicken breasts in the skillet. Cook for 6 min per side. Place a large saucepan over low heat. Add olive oil & heat for 1 min. Stir in hot pepper sauce. When chicken is done remove from skillet, place in the saucepan & coat evenly with hot pepper sauce mixture.
In a small mixing bowl mix sour cream, sliced green onion & blue cheese.
Place a bun on each of 4 plates, top with lettuce & portion size chicken breast, sliced red onion, and the blue cheese sour cream dressing. Serve with veggies for dipping.

- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 4 chicken breast
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cups of red hot sauce
- 1 cup of light sour cream
- 2 green onions (chopped)
- 1/2 cup blue cheese (crumbled)
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 1/2 red onion (sliced)
- 4 whole-wheat buns
- 2 cups of veggies for dipping
Instructions
- In bowl combine paprika & chili powder. Sprinkle over chicken breasts
