Chipped Beef Gravy
As I have mentioned before. Breakfast and or Brunch is my favorite meal. This Chipped Beef Gravy Recipe is something my husband asks for occasionally. I tried making it with the salted dried beef. It makes it way too salty for me and my family. But you may like it that way. for this recipe, I have used Budding smoked beef. You get in the lunch meat section. Its super simple to make and oh so yummy.
What you need:
Butter
Flour
Minced Garlic
Fresh Rosemary
Shallots
Heavy Cream
Salt
Black Pepper
Red Pepper
Beef
Toast or Biscuits
How to make it:
Chop all your veggies, Herbs and the Beef now. In a pan, melt the butter. Cook the garlic, rosemary, and shallots. Saute for a few minutes. In a measuring cup mix 1/2 cup of the heavy cream and the flour until smooth. Add this to your pan. Whisk for a few seconds. Then add the rest of your heavy cream. Whisk consistently.
Add the Beef now. Whisk for 10 minutes, or until the gravy is the consistency you like.
Pour the mixture over toast. or Biscuits. Garnish with a little parsley and some red pepper

- 1 tbs butter
- 1/2 tbs flour
- 1/2 tbs garlic
- 1/4 tbs rosemary
- 1/3 cup shallots
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tbs black pepper
- 1 tsp red pepper
- 4 oz chopped beef
INSTRUCTIONS

- In a pan melt the putter
- Add the garlic, rosemary, and shallots. Cook until fragrant.
- In a measuring mix the flour and 1/2 cup heavy cream until smooth
- add the flour mixture to your pan and whisk for a few seconds
- now add the rest of the heavy cream whisking consistently
- Add the chopped beef now and whisk for about 10 minutes or until the gravy is the consistency you like
- Pour mixture over toast or biscuits.
- Garnish with parsley and red pepper
