Monterey Chicken
Chicken breasts bathed in a sticky-sweet honey BBQ sauce, crowned with melty cheddar, and finished with crispy bacon, diced tomatoes, and green onions.

- 4 boneless chicken breast
- 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 4 tbsp bbq sauce
- 8 slices bacon (chopped)
- 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 3 green onions (sliced)
- 1 tomato (diced)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Pound chicken breast to flatten out a bit. season with salt and pepper.
Add Worcestershire, honey, soy sauce, and garlic in a nonstick skillet, and cook chicken breast until done.
Cook bacon until crispy
Chop the bacon, shred the cheese, dice the tomato and dice the onions.
When the chicken is done transfer to a baking sheet.
Top the chicken with BBQ sauce, bacon, and cheese.
Broil the chicken breast in the oven for 2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Sprinkle with chopped tomatoes and green onions.
Serve and enjoy with mashed potatoes and a veggie.
