Southwest Chicken Tacos
Everybody Loves Taco night. There are so many different ways you can do tacos. This one is done in the Crock-Pot. Its a simple dump and go recipe that anyone that is on the go a lot will appreciate.
How to make it
Just dump everything but the Flour Tortillas and Topping in the Crock-Pot and walk away.
Stir occasionally to give you a reason to smell the awesomeness =)
Shred the Chicken and prepare your Taco’s
INGREDIENTS
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast
1 packet taco seasoning
1 8oz jar salsa
1 can black beans (rinsed and drained)
1 can corn (rinsed and drained)
1 onion coarsely chopped
Soft taco shells
Shredded Cheese Cilantro and Sour Cream for topping.
INSTRUCTIONS
Place all ingredients EXCEPT for the Flour Tortillas and toppings in your crockpot. Stir, making sure there’s some sauce underneath the chicken so it doesn’t end up sticking to the bottom.
Cook on LOW for 8 hours or on HIGH for 4 hours. Shred with a fork, then serve with taco shells and your favorite taco toppings.
