Mexican Hot Chocolate
Tis the season for hot chocolate. Everybody loves a nice steaming cup of Hot Chocolate while they sit around the Fire Place. I am one of those people. Surprise! =) Anyways, I like to make mine with a little extra spice to it. Like many of my other recipes I like stuff with a kick, lol Here is my take on Hot Chocolate.
You will need 2 cups water, 8 cups of milk, 3/4 Cups Granulated Sugar, 1/2 Cup Cocoa Powder, 1 Tbs Vanilla Extract, 1 Tsp Cinnamon Extract, and 1 Tsp Ground Nutmeg
How to make it
You want to get out a big Pot. I like to use one with a pour spout. It just makes it easier to serve. Add your water, Cocoa Powder. Mix until all dissolved. Add the rest of your ingredients. Stir until hot and serve immediately. You can add some whipped cream, Ground Cinnamon, Cinnamon Stick for garnish.
