Cranberry Meatballs
Cranberry Meatballs
Hello, Today I have another Re-Quest = ) This one is from Mary Peters. I made these for her Vow Renewal last month. These Cranberry Meatballs are Sweet and Tangy with just a bit of heat to them. You know I like the heat, lol. They are perfect for any event. You can leave them in the crockpot to keep them warm. Or for a more formal event, you can plate and dress them up.
what you need
ground beef
Italian sausage
eggs
bread crumbs
garlic salt
pepper
ground red pepper
cranberry sauce. I use my homemade Orange Cranberry Sauce
ketchup
green onions
how to make it
In a stand mixer add the ground beef, Italian sausage, bread crumbs, garlic salt, pepper, and eggs.
When its fully incorporated roll into meatballs. And place in the crockpot
in a small bowl add cranberry sauce, ketchup, and ground red pepper.
Mix well, and add to the meatballs.
Turn heat to high cover and cook for 4 hours stirring occasionally. When the meatballs are done. Use a toothpick or cocktail pick to stick in each one. Plate the meatballs, shake some sesame seeds on them and some green onions for garnishing.
I served them with a bed of rice and extra juice.
These Meatballs were so much fun. We had a blast making this meatball man. I just had to show you guys, lol
