Butter Biscuits
Butter Biscuit’s
These Homemade Butter Biscuits are soft and fluffy. They are the best thing ever to have at the breakfast table. I use them for everything. And they are so easy to make. Try them with my recipe (Grandma’s Chocolate Gravy)
What you need:
all-purpose flour
sugar
salt
baking powder
cream of tartar
butter
eggs milk
How to make it:
go on and stick two sticks of salted butter in the freezer
preheat oven to 150F
when the butter is frozen you want to use a cheese grater to grate your butter. I know that sounds strange, but its the best way to get the consistency you want out of these biscuits. I’m sorry I don’t have pictures of this process. I was taking them. just had forgotten to put the memory stick back in my camera. So Sorry, lol when the butter is grated but in a bowl and stick back in the freezer.
Combine the dry ingredients in a stand mixer.
now get your butter and add to the mixer.
mix slowly just until incorporated.
add the milk and eggs.
knead the dough for about 5 minutes.
pat out the dough out and roll to about 1/2 inch and cut out your biscuits
put on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush on melted butter. Bake for 12 minutes
